LUMINE is a Japanese based premium urban retail store that offers premium Tokyo Fashion, Lifestyle and Culture.
Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Japan, LUMINE opens its second overseas location at one of Indonesia's luxurious mall, Plaza Indonesia (Level 5). LUMINE JAKARTA is opened to promote cultural and human exchange between the two countries as well as to foster a new fashion culture.
LUMINE curated a collection of women's & men's fashion and accessories all the way from Japan. Customers could also taste Japanese culinary at LUMINE Cafè.

Visual Merchandising Review
LUMINE's latest seasonal merchandising theme for Summer 2019 is "Paradise Found". LUMINE use an acrylic glass with printed tropical leaves to add a soft yet dramatic effect to the whole merchandising look. Their concept's title Paradise Found was made in bright pink neon signage as a focus point; to directly attract customer's eyes to the signage.
LUMINE use the bold and sophisticated bright pink colour as the cardboard base, with a very aesthetic visual graphic of a "beach situation" scene drawn from an upper angle as the background of the mannequins. In addition, they uses minimalist lamps covered in Japanese-style carved wooden lamp shades that make customers feel as if they're in Tokyo.
As for the outfits, LUMINE uses another bold colours such as yellow and blue in all the outfits of the mannequins in the merchandising area to complement the bold pink colour of the cardboard background.
Overall, I think LUMINE did a really great job on their visual merchandising, especially because their merchandising area is an open space. The space is decorated with a perfect balance of Japanese culture and modern sleek decorative elements; and the combination of colours used are on point! Love everything about it!♡
