I'VE MADE THE FIGHT, I'VE CHANGED THE GAME.
Got the chance to attend G-SHOCK: Game Changer event that was exclusively made to launch the new G-SHOCK product, GA-2100 series. The event took place at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The event featured live performances by Dharni Ng, Joie Tan, DJ Reiko & Axel Brizzy, live painting by Sam Lo & Tiffany Tan, exciting MMA match and showcase of G-SHOCK's highly desirable, specially curated limited-edition watches.
The new G-SHOCK watch, GA-2100 is made up of Casio’s newly formulated Carbon Core Guard, where the inner case of the watch is formed out of carbon fibre: a material of high strength-to-volume ratio that is incredibly light, offers high chemical and temperature tolerance, and has low thermal expansion.
The GA-2100 are available in three variations; black with grey accents, all black version and all red version.
The event itself was so fun and entertaining! At the beginning of the event, G-SHOCK owner himself, Mr. Kikuo Ibe came from Japan and share how G-SHOCK was found and how the brand grew into one of the most famous international watch brand.
After the talkshow with Mr. Kikuo Ibe, all the guests were provided with light food and beverages while enjoying edm music by DJ Reiko. G-SHOCK also created a lot of instagrammable spots using neon lights, badass car tires and a wall full of graffiti for all the guests to take pictures at.
The entertainment started with a heart-pumping MMA match, continued with exciting beatbox session by Dharni Ng (a world-class Singaporean beatboxer), Axel Brizzy (Singapore's youngest rapper), and Joie Tan (Singaporean singer).
The event was definitely a blast! We all really had a fun time!
