From Waste to Wonder

Students of International Fashion Business major volunteered for EcoBank to help in sorting and seperating pre-loved goods into its respective category.

We were formed in a group of four and while we were sorting the pre-loved goods, we were also tasked to style three different outfits with different styles.

So here are our findings!

Outfit 1: Something Sporty

Sporty outfits has been very popular lately and a lot of people actually started wearing sportswear as their everyday wear.

Chose a Yonex lemon short-sleeve shirt and styled it with a black baggy pants. Topped the shirt with Uniqlo's purple puffy jacket because yellow and purple never go wrong. Finished the look with Fila bag in shades of blue.

Look 3: Strolling in Comfort

You don't need to put so much effort to look stylish, you just have to wear your go-to clothing and add something popping into the look!

Chose a dark grey sweater and paired it up with a navy knee-length skirt. As the whole clothes are already in dark tones, we added a shocking pink triangular clutch to make the whole look more fun and playful.

Surprisingly, me and my team actually found a lot of very usable and stylish garments to style with. From this experience, I learned that we could create something wonderful from discarded items that people consider as waste.
