Brand introduction here: Déjà Vu Vintage.
As you all can see from the title, me and my team (Livi, Sharon, Olive, Erlina & Peter) helped Déjà Vu Vintage on having a mini store makeover!
About one month back, we were told to re-furbish Déjà Vu Vintage's store layout and create a new concept for the store (which will be also be implemented to the store's visual merchandising). After a few back and forth discussions, the concept that Déjà Vu picked was "Modern Boudoir Look", which consists of mostly white and pastel colours with props and furnitures inspired from the French Renaissance era.
After the concept was finalised, our first task was to search for items that fits the theme with the best price possible. We found some props such as pearl deco, faux fur carpet, feather boa, etc. from both online and offline store.
While me and my team waited for the items to be delivered, we create some collaterals such as Great Singapore Sale poster and new signage design that will be printed to fit the store's concept.
After a good two weeks, all the items were delivered and are ready for installation.
So here's the result of the store makeover!
Visual Merchandising
For the visual merchandising, we only did a few changes as the store owner wish to have a similar look with their prior visual merchandising.
First, we changed the outfits on the mannequin with mostly white and pastel colours, adding a pop of pink in the middle of the merchandising to attract customer's eyes. We also changed the mannequin's positioning a little bit to make the composition looks better.
Then, we added grey faux fur carpet, white suitcase, feather boa (to wrap the swing's handle), 3D butterflies (to decorate the swing) & the Great Singapore Sale poster to finish off the overall merchandising area.
In-Store Layout
For the in-store layout, we added some items such as pink stool in the fitting room, acrylic stands to display the glasses and hand-painted gold ladder to hang the belts. We also stacked some acrylic boxes to display merchandise and added simple decorations to make the display looks aesthetically pleasing.
Last but not least, we arranged the order of the clothes in a colour co-ordinated way to make the clothes look neater and also more pleasing for customers to look at.
Before & After
Overall, I think me and my team did a really great job on our first ever store makeover. Everyone worked really well together and complete the whole installation in just 2 hours!
Special thanks to Miss Anisa Johnny for helping us through it all! Couldn't have made it without each one of them♡
